New Orleans, La.- Loyola head men’s basketball coach and director of athletics and wellness Dr. Michael Giorlando has announced the hiring of assistant coach Richard Hinton to the Wolfpack basketball staff.

New Orleans, La.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) honored each of Loyola University New Orleans six intercollegiate athletics teams with the men’s basketball team taking the top spot with the highest grade point average as NAIA Scholar Teams. Volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s basketball, and baseball also gained distinction as each program had a cumulative 3.0 or better grade point average.
