New Orleans, La. - Loyola volleyball players Mary Seals and Gina Gill were named to the 2008 American Volleyball Coaches Association NAIA All-Mid-South Region Team. Sarah Howard was awarded with an Honorable Mention.

- # 23 Mobile Wins GCAC Championship with Sweep of Loyola
New Orleans, La.- # 23 Mobile captured the 2008 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship, beating Loyola in straight sets, 20-25, 18-25, 17-25, ending the Wolfpack’s season and clinching the Rams a spot in the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
